Behavior Modification

What Is Behavior Modification?

Some behaviors need more than just basic obedience—they need a thoughtful, strategic approach. Our behavior modification sessions are designed for dogs showing signs of fear, reactivity, anxiety, or aggression. We’ll work closely with both you and your dog to understand the “why” behind the behavior, and then create a step-by-step plan that builds confidence, trust, and long-term change.

What We Focus On:

These sessions go deeper than training commands—we’re here to help you manage and transform challenging behaviors, such as:

  • Reactivity – Barking, lunging, or growling at dogs, people, or other triggers

  • Fear-Based Responses – Shyness, avoidance, or freezing in new situations or around unfamiliar people

  • Aggression – Resource guarding, dog aggression, human aggression, growling, snapping, or biting

  • Anxiety – Separation anxiety, pacing, whining, or destructive behavior

  • Handling Sensitivities – Struggles with grooming, vet visits, or being touched

We tailor the plan to your dog’s history, triggers, and temperament—because every dog deserves a thoughtful, individualized approach.

What to Expect:

  • An initial detailed behavioral assessment to identify root causes

  • A customized training plan focused on your dog’s specific triggers and stressors

  • Guided exercises and real-time coaching to safely build new habits
